Boost Your Las Vegas Business With Free PR Web Promotion

Whether you are starting a new business in Las Vegas with a big budget or a small budget, you can always take advantage of free web promotion.

One of the best ways to gain free promotion is by using press releases to highlight your company’s latest news stories, events, hires and client wins. In order to write a truly effective press release, it should be a newsworthy story. A grand opening, a special sale, a charitable effort within the Las Vegas community, are all great stories perfect for a press release and an excellent free advertising tool.

There are numerous press release submission websites, some free and some paid, which will allow you to submit your news articles. By doing so, you’re exposing your news item to newspaper and magazine editors who may in turn publish your article/s.

Your press release should be no more than one page in length. Make sure your name, mailing address and telephone number are included at the top of the page as editors will confirm your identity before publishing your news article. See the links below to find the standard format you should write your press release in.

Writing Your Own Press Releases for Las Vegas

A great way to promote your Las Vegas business or company is to write a press release which is also known as a news release. A press release contains information about recent updates with your Las Vegas business, important events within your business which are scheduled, reviews of the event once it has happened, promotions within the company, new products being introduced to the company, and recent sales.

The structure of a press release starts with a headline or title. The headline of the press release should be catchy as to attract a readers eye to the title and entice them to want to read the release. Make the title informative and intriguing so the reader is more inclined to read the rest of the press release. Following the headline and title should be the date of the press release and the city where the business is located or where the event occurred.

The body paragraph comes next in the press release, but start the body paragraph with a lead which is one or two sentences long. Make sure that these sentences leading into the body paragraph are as catchy as the headline. The point is to bring the reader into the press reader into the body paragraph with something they are interested in learning more about.

The body paragraph should be short and concise, maintaining a who, what, where, when and why format. Educate the readers on what exactly you are informing them about, and who it involves. Explain to the reader where this event occurred, if it was at a location outside of the company or if it is a business related matter which occurred inside the doors of the business. If the press release concerns a location and a date, be sure to include those details, and if it is covering something which already happened, make sure the locale, time and day are in the press release. Make sure to incorporate why the event, promotion, or increase in sales has been important enough to write about. All of this information is important to include in the press release, but do not go into too much detail other than these facts.

After the press release information subject details are in the press release, include a short paragraph which explains details about the company and what the company does. This paragraph should be no longer than six lines long but should still provide informative information about the goals, history, and future of the company. If the press release is distributed online, add a link to the company’s website within this body of text.

Contact information for your company should be included after the paragraph about the company. Add the company’s address, the name of the owner and manager, the telephone numbers and email addresses of the owner and manager as well as a general telephone number and fax number where the company can be contacted, the hours of availability which is the hours that the company is open or when someone can be reached by telephone, and a website or url where the company’s internet website can be found.
